- ➤ The Black Heritage Museum of Arlington began an online fundraising effort to buy a historic circa-1900 home in the Penrose community that once served as the Hunter Station trolley stop—known as the Trolley House—to become its permanent location. - ➤ Arlington Public Schools will launch a modern anti-bullying curriculum on Oct. 1—teaching students about bullying definitions, identity, and reporting strategies. The curriculum follows feedback from parents and students and will be delivered by counselors, psychologists, and social workers to meet state education requirements. ARLnow

- ➤ Northern Virginia Air Force pilot Adam Fuhrmann was chosen as one of 10 NASA astronaut candidates for 2025 and reported for duty in September at Space Center Johnson in Houston. - ➤ On Sept. 19, Washington-Liberty beat Westfield 14-13 in a historic upset—Westfield had never lost in eight previous matchups.
