CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police arrested three individuals aged 18 to 29 after a man was beaten, robbed and threatened with machetes during two separate incidents last weekend on Columbia Pike near S. Four Mile Run Drive—authorities charged them with offenses including malicious wounding by mob, robbery and machete branding. ARLnow
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A traveler from outside Virginia confirmed with measles passed through Dulles International Airport on August 12 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Officials said the traveler may have exposed others in the main terminal, at the TSA security checkpoint, or on the shuttle to Concourse B—local health officials advise anyone who may have been exposed to contact their local health department.
