- ➤ At last night’s RAMMY Awards, Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe received the Honorary Milestone Award for 50 years in business while local chef Seng Luangrath was named Best Restaurateur of the Year for her work at Padaek and other local restaurants. - ➤ The Aging & Disability Resource Center stopped seeing clients on Fridays because increased needs from at-risk seniors now require 40–90 minutes per visit. Director Tené Young said staff need more help + volunteers to manage paperwork and support client care. ARLnow
- ➤ On July 28, a key public review for Pentagon City's RiverHouse expansion ended with mostly positive feedback — the plan includes 127 townhomes, two multifamily buildings, and park improvements on a 36-acre site.
