- ➤ Travelers at Reagan National Airport are pleased that TSA no longer requires removing shoes during security checks, a policy change announced Tuesday and now in effect nationwide following successful pilot tests—improving efficiency without compromising safety. - ➤ On July 1, a working group on affordable housing met to explore how to help low- and moderate-income Arlington households by urging developers to add more funds to the Affordable Housing Investment Fund - the group will meet again on July 15 and aims to have concrete deliverables for the Housing Commission by September.
