- ➤ Costco emailed its Virginia customers to say it will comply with a new privacy law starting July 1 that strengthens protection for reproductive and sexual health information — the retailer said it will use the data only for processing searches and orders and will not share or sell it. - ➤ Arlington Public Library warned that wait times for popular titles will be longer starting July 1 because its collections budget was cut by 21%. The library will buy fewer digital books, end its Grab and Go eBook service for FY 2026, and switch from Kanopy to Biblio+ and Access Video. ARLnow
- ➤ Arlington’s missing middle zoning ordinance was reinstated on Tuesday by the Virginia Court of Appeals—enabling more multi-unit homes in areas that had been limited to single-family houses.
