- ➤ Travelers planning last-minute flights for Memorial Day weekend should reconsider flying from DCA (23.2% of flights were disrupted in April) as AirHelp’s analysis ranks it among the worst. - ➤ At a Bicycle Advisory Committee meeting last week in Arlington, members questioned whether the county was fully committed to the 2019 bicycle-safety goals as targets were not being met and school programs lagged behind expectations. Active-transportation planner Brian Shelton said his department was working on progress while concerns remain on whether county leadership is addressing these issues — prompting calls for more decisive action. - ➤ A half-foot water main broke Friday morning at 850 N. Kensington St.—about 75 customers lost water service while crews worked to repair the break and guided drivers to follow detour instructions; repairs were expected to end by 7 p.m. DC News Now
