- ➤ Wonder, a celebrity chef-partnered food hall and delivery service, plans to expand into Rosslyn by renovating an existing restaurant at 1771 N. Pierce Street (the former Rosslyn Foxtrot). - ➤ A CVS Pharmacy closed its long-time Fillmore Gardens Shopping Center location on Friday as workers removed supplies and opened a new store on the ground floor of Westmont Apartments at 3301 Columbia Pike in late March. - ➤ On May 4, a man (33) followed a woman into a Virginia Square apartment building and, after being asked to leave, brandished a machete before fleeing and was arrested for brandishing a machete and carrying a concealed weapon (held without bond). ARLnow

- ➤ A new bus route for rush-hour service is planned to connect Shirlington with Metro Center and Alexandria/Fairfax via stops such as Beauregard Street and the Shirlington Bus Station—funding will be available in July and the start date will be set by WMATA. ARLnow
- ➤ Today, the TSA begins enforcing REAL ID as scammers send fake websites and phishing messages promising a quicker process for $35 — tricks that steal personal information. Officials urge residents to use only official websites — and to report any fraud, noting that REAL IDs now make up 61% of active licenses. WJLA
