- ➤ A D.C. deli inspired by New York foods will open this summer at 1028 N. Garfield Street in Clarendon — a space that previously housed UnCommon Luncheonette. Founder Gina Chersevani, a veteran mixologist, will serve deli sandwiches, egg creams, and cocktails while adding menu items that honor her Sicilian heritage — including braised swordfish and stuffed knishes.
