- ➤ A driver in a Jeep plunged into the Potomac River Tuesday evening on George Washington Parkway near Arlington Memorial Bridge and was pulled from the water at 6:50 p.m.—she was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. WTOP

- ➤ On March 15, county leaders teamed with the Arlington Historical Society and Black Heritage Museum to unveil brass stumbling stones honoring Margaret Hyson and her children George and Charlotte—enslaved individuals whose untold lives in Yorktown are now shared with the public. The county will convert overflow space at the 2020 14th Street N. shelter into permanent sleeping areas — with plans for a senior unit — as project work moves forward with a start expected by 2027.
